If you were lucky enough to be born into a semi-wealthy land holding family, and you were a woman, you were likely married off to other land holding wealth. You were a barter or an agreement.

We now have a huge middle class and women and men have changed drastically. We now have the freedom to enjoy sex! Unfortunately, the biological imperative of a man equating his virility and honor or “manhood” is still attached to him “owning his woman”.
